Ricardo begs Don Gaspar to get him a pardon because he is really in love with Camila and wants to have a family of his own. Ricardo asks Camila to give back Lisabeta’s inheritance yet worriedly tells her that he would go insane if she is taken to the debtor’s prison and someone buys her before he gets the money. Meantime, Justo and Ines get upset with Rita as she continues to attack and criticize Camila because of jealousy.
