When Leonel’s mother (Patricia) died, Esteban took him in. Esteban reveals to Leonel that his mother was murdered and kept it a secret to protect his feelings. Meanwhile, Ana Rosa loses her patience with Esteban’s children and his vague plans of marrying her. Lupita and Greco both find a job under the San Romans—Lupita works as a secretary at the office of Leonel and Esteban while Greco gets to tutor Esteban’s daughter, Estrella, in Biotechnology. Back in Aruba, Maria’s attorney manages to get a parole.
